Spanish Formula One GP Results

Pastor Maldonado finished the Spanish GP in 1st position todat to become the fith driver to win in the first 5 races of the season and also becoming the first Venezuelan winner.

Maldonado the race started in pole position but lost out early on to Fernando Alonso, but Maldonado managed regain the top spot later in the race using the pit stops.

Fernando Alonso finished the race in second spot in front of a rapidly gaining Kimi Raikkonen who was on a late serge in an attempt to catch the front two.  Raikkonen's Lotus team mate Romain Grosjean finished fourth.
