Website Update

Over the christmas holidays we have decided to have a little update on how the website looks.  Hopefully everyone will think this as being an improvement.

We have also recently had the post code search implemented so its easy to find used cars for sale close to where you live.  This post code feature has also been implemented to the dealer search as well, so you can also search the registered dealers with Motor Ads Uk by distance from where you live.

Another feature added is a dealer logo which will now be displayed within each listing created by dealerships.

We are working on other upgrades to be released in the future.

Indian Grand Prix Results - Formula One

Redbulls Sebastian Vettel becomes the first driver to win the Indian GP.  Vettel led from the start with his only real competitor being Jenson Button who was on his tail for all of the race, and finished in second position ahead of Alonso.

Button made second spot after passing Webber and Alonso on the first lap of the race.

Once again Lewis Hamilton was in the wars when he and Massa collidied while Hamilton tried to overtake Massa.  But this time it was Felipe that was handed the punishment of a drive through penalty.  The collision caused Hamilton to lose a few places after having to make a pit stop to rectify the damage.

Things got even worse for Massa when he broke his suspension as he took one of the kerbs.

Japanese GP Suzuka Results - Formula One

Jenson Button holds on to win the Japanese Gp, with a late surge from Alsonso threatening to take the lead, but Button held on to produce the fastest laps of the GP with just a couple of laps remaining.  It was another great display by Button and once again used his tyres to great effect. Alonso finished in second position with Vettel only managing third spot but taking the drivers championship in the process.

Vettel only needed 1 point from this race to secure the championship for the second time.  There was at no point in the race that it looked like he would not gain that 1 point.

Possible new motorway speed limit

It has been proposed by the government to increase motorway speed limits to 80mph by 2013, but also there will be an expansion on 20mph limits in urban areas.

No doubt there will be stiff opposition from environmentalists and road safety groups.

The existing 70mph speed limit was put in place in 1965, but cars are now significantly safer than back in the 60's

What are your opinions on this?

Singapore GP Results - Formula One

Sebastian Vettel wins the Singapore grandprix with pretty much a flawless race. Vettel led from the start and was in first place comfortably for most of the race. There was a late surge of pace by Jenson Button towards the end of the race, but traffic held him back from catching vettel thus crossing the line in 2nd position. Vettels red bull team mate Mark Webber finished in 3rd Place.

This win means Vettel just needs 1 point from the next 5 races to retain the title for the second season running.

Meanwhile Lewis Hamilton was in the spotlight once more when he clipped the back of Massa's Ferrari causing the Ferrari a rear puncture, and also damaging hamiltons front wing. This left Hamilton with a drive through penalty.

Michael Schumacher also was involved in a accident while fighting Sergio Perez for position, the seven-time World Champ carried too much speed as Perez braked early for the corner, which caused Schumacher to hit the back of the Sauber, launching the Mercedes into the air, which resulted into schumacher smashing into the barriers.
