Jaguar have confirmed the F-Type sports car will go into production, likely to be launched around the summer of 2013.

The new F-Type will be similar in design to the C-X16 concept car which was unveiled last year.
The car will be initially launched as a convertible and Jaguar have said a range of petrol engines will be available.
It will be built using the same aluminium technique as the XJ and XK,
and boast a 0-60mph time in under 5 seconds. The F-Type will be
manufactured at the Castle Bromwich factory outside Birmingham.
