Malaysian GP, Sepang Circuit 2012 - Formula One

Fernando Alonso of Ferrari managed to hold off Sergio Perez in todays Malaysian GP to take the win.

With the race starting with torrential rain the race was finally stopped after just 6 laps when the red flags came out.  The race was held up for around 50 mins with a restart with the safety car deployed.

Fuel Prices Hit Record High

Fuel prices in the UK have hit a record high in March 2012 with average petrol prices hitting around £1.40 a litre and diesel prices averaging £1.46 a litre.

The increase in fuel costs are down to oil prices increasing which have risen by 12 percent since early 2012.

New Focus 1.0 Ecoboost Revealed

Ford have revealed the new focus 1.0 turbocharged 3 cylinder ecoboost engines.  The new engines will feature a 100ps and a 125ps version

The new 1.0 ecoboost turbocharged engine will give the same power as the current 1.6 litre version.  The 125ps version will return an efficiancy of 56.5 mpg while the 100ps version will return 58.9mpg.

New Mondeo Mk5 Images Released

Images of the up and coming new Ford Mondeo Mk5 have been released.  The design will be based upon the Ford Fusion from over in America and the Mondeo should be pretty much the same.

The Mondeo will have a more aggressive front grill giving it similar appearence to a jaguar or Aston Martin
